Top-notch, off-season service

Even though my husband and I stayed during the off-season in early November, Stone Canyon Inn didn't miss a beat. They emailed us a few days prior to our arrival to let us know their official restaurant was closed, but a chef had stayed and offered to cook us dinner.
We were grateful for the hospitality but adjusted our expectations, thinking it would be bare bones; boy, were we pleasantly surprised. Even though we'd had a few "fancy" dinners on our road trip through Utah, this was - hands down - the best. We got steaks (cooked exactly the way we asked), veggies, and a to-die-for dessert along with a bottle of wine.

The property is so quaint, we felt like we were staying in the middle of Bryce Canyon National Park (which you basically are), and it was pitch black at night; we could see every star out the window lying in our bed. The bungalow had everything we needed and more, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating or kind.
