Loved Stone Canyon!!!

by Sandy and Steve B
(Montoursville, PA)

We stayed at Stone Canyon Inn for two nights. We arrived after dark the first night and took advantage of the hot tub on our cabin's deck while taking in the amazing show in the sky! What an amazing place to stargaze!!! The next day, we hiked in Bryce Canyon. We hiked the Navajo/Queen's Garden Loop and then the walk to Inspiration Point. What an amazing day at a beautiful place! We came back to Stone Canyon and made a loop around the rest of Stone Canyon to see the rest of the property while it was still light out. We then enjoyed another night in the hot tub & star gazing. The next day, we decided to check out Kodachrome Basin State Park and we weren't disappointed. What a beautiful place to visit with lots of hikes. We did the Angel's Palace Trail and the Shakespeare Arch/Sentinel Trail while at Kodachrome and they were great hikes! We explored the rest of the park before heading off to Zion National Park.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Stone Canyon and, if we ever return to the area, we will definitely come back to Stone Canyon! The staff we encountered were very accommodating and helpful. Our only disappointment was that we didn't get to experience the Stone Hearth Grille as it closed for the season before we arrived. We stopped at the IDK BBQ in Tropic and enjoyed some great food. We also visited Bryce Canyon Coffee in Tropic and had some great coffee!
