Unexpected Variety within 50 miles of the Inn

We've never been to Southern Utah before and were surprised by the variety of activities within an easy drive.
It's not just Bryce Canyon but hikes to waterfalls and red rock arches. Small towns with interesting stores (a saddle store and Western memorabilia one, for example) and nice restaurants exist in several directions.
We even ran into an amazing food truck! Photo opportunities galore with unusual rock formations, verdant valleys, and stark deserts. Had a wonderful time and the temperatures were pleasant, even in August.
